Primo singolo estratto dall'album Day & Age (uscito a fine novembre 2008), questo Human porta i The Killers verso lidi dance-pop/elettropop con gusto un po' retro' (U2, Queen e David Bowie) lontano dal rock sporco, ala Springsteen, del precedente album Sam’s Town. Il pezzo è orecchiabile e godereccio al punto giusto da entrare nelle classifiche e in alta rotazione nelle radio. Una svolta forse troppo "commerciale"?
