Bad Romance è il primo dei singoli inediti estratto da "The Fame Monster", il nuovo album di Lady Gaga, due cd con otto nuovi brani e la riedizione del fortunato primo album "The Fame".
Bad Romance è accompagnato da un video spettacolare diretto da Francis Lawrence, regista di videoclip per numerose star (Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Gwen Stefani..).
Nel video Lady Gaga interpreta il ruolo di un'affascinante bad girl drogata e seviziata per il piacere di un boss della mafia russa. Gaga però nel finale si vendica e la vediamo fumare una sigaretta accanto allo scheletro bruciacchiato del suo aguzzino. Un vero thriller in 5'26''!
E' stato rilasciato da poco il nuovo singolo di Rihanna "Russian Roulette", un brano soft imperniato sul gioco pericoloso della vita e della morte scritto e prodotto da Ne-Yo. Il video diretto da Anthony Mandler, regista molto famoso per aver lavorato con artisti come Eminem, Nelly Furtado, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Duran Duran, Enrique Iglesias e Spice Girls, dall'atmosfera cupa e ossessiva, vede Rihanna impegnata in una pericolosa relazione amorosa, rappresentata in metafora dal gioco della roulette russa, che la porta sempre più in basso fino alla morte. Il nuovo album di Rihanna "Rated R" uscirà il 23 novembre.

Bodies è il primo singolo tratto dall'album Reality Killed the Video Star, il nuovo album di Robbie Williams. L'artista con questo album tenta di uscire dalla crisi seguita al precedente Rudebox (2006) che, pur arrivando ai vertici della classifica inglese, è stato accolto piuttosto freddamente dalla critica ed è il disco della sua carriera che ha venduto di meno. Il singolo apripista Bodies è un buon esempio di questa risalita, un pezzo pop ben riuscito che si è piazzato subito al top delle charts.

Salvami è il nuovo singolo di Gianna Nannini che vede la straordinaria partecipazione di Giorgia. Due voci così diverse che si intrecciano mirabilmente su una canzone scritta a quattro mani dalla Nannini e da Pacifico: si tratta di un dialogo fra due amiche, in cui l'una dà all'altra la forza di uscire da un momento buio e di lasciarsi andare ad un possibile nuovo amore. Il brano sarà inserito in una nuova edizione di Giannadream. Al primo ascolto Be Lonely può sembrare una operazione nostalgica per i riferimenti espliciti a Barry White e al sound di Filadelfia, ma l'innegabile bravura di Biondi riesce a scrollare facili déjà vu e a marcare l'eleganza di un genere ancora attuale.
