La band è formata dal cantante Alex Turner , leader degli Arctic Monkeys e Miles Kane , leader del gruppo The Rascals . L'album The Age Of The Understatement , prodotto da James Ford, è orientato alle sonorità brit pop anni 60 ed è piuttosto lontano dal sound garage degli Arctic Monkeys.
